The site and a project are separate

You may browse the site, read the pages, and contact us under these terms.

A design or development project starts only when both sides accept a written proposal. That proposal sets the scope, price, timing, and any other project terms. Where the proposal and these terms both speak about the project, the proposal applies.

Packages shown on the site, including Craft, Craft+, Launch, and Ecommerce, describe typical engagements. They are an invitation to talk. A package name, a price indication, or a case study becomes binding only when it is written into an accepted proposal.

Using the site

You may use the site for information about the studio and to send an enquiry. Use it lawfully, and only in a way that leaves the site available for other people.

You may not attempt to break, probe, or overload the site, scrape it in a way that degrades the service, or use the content to mislead others about who made the work.

The site is offered as it stands. Pages, examples, and package descriptions can change. We aim to keep them accurate. A page on the site is not a promise that a future project will look, cost, or perform the same way.

Enquiries

When you email, call, or send a form, you agree that we may use those details to reply and to prepare a proposal. How long we keep them is described in the privacy statement.

A form, an email, or a call is a request for contact. It does not reserve a start date and it does not create a contract.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, code, graphics, and original media on this website belong to studiorolie, or to the people who licensed them to us. You may view them in a browser and share a link to a page.

You may not copy the site, its visual design, or its text for your own commercial use without written permission.

Work we make for a client is covered by the proposal for that project. Case studies on the site show completed work. The client’s name, logo, and materials in a case study remain the client’s.

Links

The site links to other places, including our Instagram profile. Those sites have their own terms and privacy rules. We are not responsible for their content.

Liability

We are liable for damage that Dutch law does not allow us to limit, including damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness.

For other damage arising from your use of the website, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site. Use of the site is free, so that amount is zero. This limit covers loss of data, loss of profit, and business interruption connected with browsing the site.

Liability for a paid project is set in the proposal for that project.

Privacy

We process personal data as described in the privacy statement on this site.

Changes

We can update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. The date above is the date of the current version. The version on the site at the time you use it applies to that use. A proposal that is already accepted keeps the terms that were in force when it was accepted, together with the terms of the proposal itself.

Law

These website terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes that we cannot resolve together go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
